"For a meal built around rice, start with the pork ribs and add hand-shredded chicken to share. The chicken comes with peanuts and cilantro, so keep that in mind when ordering for the table."

Old-school Cantonese banquet hall doing dim sum by day and seafood dinners by night, a classic SGV institution.

JING (南景酒楼) is a new Cantonese dim sum and seafood hall on Garfield Ave near Valley Blvd, open since a soft opening in October 2026 in the big banquet space that was World Seafood, and before that Shi Hai and Blue Ocean. The dim sum tastes handmade and lightly seasoned, with plump har gow, meaty chicken feet, and shrimp and chive dumplings that stay soft even after sitting. The soy sauce noodles with yellow chives and bean sprouts are the standout. Prices run a little above other SGV dim sum halls, and the quality backs it up.

Milk & Co. is the kind of Hong Kong cafe where you come for affordable comfort food, big portions, and old school flavors that still feel hard to find in SGV.
