Delicious Food Corner
RosemeadDelicious Food Corner feels like a classic Hong Kong café. There are several locations around SGV including Monterey Park and San Gabriel. The congee is smooth and flavorful, and their breakfast combos are perfect to split. Their coffee milk tea and Hong Kong milk tea are strong, slightly sweet, and nostalgic. Perfect for congee fans, light-breakfast people, or anyone who grew up on Hong Kong-style eats.
Lao Xi Noodle House
ArcadiaLao Xi Noodle House earned a Bib Gourmand for its Shaanxi classics. The signature wife's special noodle features hand-shaved noodles, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and pork in a rich broth. Their boiled dumplings have a thick wrapper and savory filling that's perfect for dunking in chili oil.
Chong Yuen Fong
AlhambraChong Yuen Fong in Alhambra is tiny but don't let that fool you. Their chashu might be the best in all of LA. It's tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. They also do herbal soups, Portuguese egg tarts, and a chicken curry that is extremely satisfying.
