Yunnan Restaurant
Monterey ParkYunnan Restaurant in Monterey Park is known for sour and spicy flavors. You grab cold deli items think cucumber, pig ear, sliced sour potatoes, spicy tofu and they're delicious. For hot dishes, the spicy fish filet and toothpick lamb are big hits. Portions are generous, food comes out fast, and whether you dine in or take out, if you like spicy, this is your spot.
Fuxing Spring
Monterey ParkIf you're looking for value, Fuxing Spring in Monterey Park is tough to beat. Their lunch specials run from 10 am to 5 pm and come with soup, hot tea, and huge portions, all for around $13. We got the curry beef rice plate and had leftovers for dinner. The claypot rice takes 25 minutes, but the crispy bottom layer is totally worth the wait.
