A modern Korean fast-casual counter inside Haven City Market built around bibimbap, using locally sourced, seasonal produce. Build your own bowl from a rotating list of starches, salads, toppings, and meats, or order off the rotating specials board. Part of a small Southern California mini-chain with other locations in Torrance and Rancho Cucamonga.

A rotating special, not always on the board. Deveined shrimp grilled to order plus tender short rib with good char and a sweet, savory marinade, over short-grain rice with a side salad and roasted Brussels sprouts. Very garlicky. The better of the two dishes we tried.
Pick a base (we did half kimchi fried rice, half lettuce), a protein (spicy pork), toppings (mushroom and broccoli), and a dressing (sesame nori). Well-seasoned and generously portioned, not spicy unless you make it that way.

"If it's your first visit, order whatever the current special plate is instead of building your own bowl. Ours was a garlic shrimp and Korean short rib plate over short-grain rice with a side salad and roasted Brussels sprouts, and it was the better of the two dishes we tried. If you do build your own bowl, the sesame nori dressing was a good call, and they grill proteins to order, so nothing sits around."

Korean spot in Rowland Heights. Kimbap.
Clam House in Monterey Park is all about seafood grilled right at your table, fast, fresh, and hands-on. We got Combo A, which came with clams, mussels, shrimp, noodles, steamed egg, seafood salad, and a ton of sides, enough for two at $80. They handle everything for you, so the timing is perfect. Don't sleep on the sweet potato, it roasts while you eat and ends up being dessert. If you want something like Korean BBQ but with seafood, this is it.

A popular Korean restaurant known for rich bone broth soups, hearty portions, and late-night dining.
