Yang’s Kitchen
AlhambraYang's Kitchen in Alhambra is one of the more interesting spots in SGV, a modern Chinese restaurant that leans into local ingredients and seasonal menus. Strong for date nights, the brunch is popular and worth a visit, and dinner has enough range to impress. It's not your grandma's Chinese food, which is kind of the point.
Kang Kang Food Court
AlhambraKang Kang Food Court is the kind of place you go to when you want something affordable, filling, and packed with flavor. Their sheng jian bao are crispy on the bottom, juicy on the inside, and honestly one of the most satisfying bites you can get in SGV. It’s casual, fast-paced, and the type of spot you’ll want to bring people to just to watch their reaction after the first bite.
Newport seafood
San GabrielNewport Seafood in San Gabriel is a popular Chinese dinner spot and a go-to for date night or group meals. Known for their Newport special lobster with black pepper and jalapenos, this is the kind of place people drive across town for. Big, bold seafood dishes built for sharing.
